We are merely passing on to you the Principals instructions and we accept no liability for any inaccuracies contained in such brochures.

Some Principals may reserve the right to cancel or amend travel, accommodation, activities etc (even after firm bookings have been made) and as this is beyond our control, we cannot accept responsibility should this occur and must therefore reserve consequential rights to cancel and amend any arrangements made.

Fly Buys will only be available on transactions made up until 31 August 2009.  We regret to advise that this service will no longer be available after this date.

Checking Your Travel Arrangements

Please check all dates and arrangements detailed. While we have exercised care preparing the itinerary requested by you it is essential that you check all details to ensure that it fully meets with their requirements and to ensure that there has been no misunderstanding. Due to airline security measures, your passport name should match the name on your airline ticket exactly or you may be denied aircraft boarding.

Passports & Visa Requirements

Prior to confirming your travel arrangements you should check your Passport and establish that it will remain current for the entire period of your travel. Certain countries require your Passport to remain valid for a period of up to six months after the date upon which you are scheduled to leave such country. If your Passport expires less than six months after you are scheduled to leave such country you may be denied entry.

You should clarify visa requirements with the Embassies of the countries that you plan to visit as certain countries require you to take out a visa whether you are travelling on a New Zealand Passport or a foreign passport.

Please ensure that you have all necessary visas required for your transit points and destinations. If you are travelling to or through the U.S. please note that there are changes to the U.S. Waiver Program.  As of 26 October 2005, passport holders must now travel with a machine readable passport.  For New Zealanders these are passports that begin with X, L, N, F, AA or AB.  Passports beginning with J or M are not machine readable.

The authorities in some countries (including Australia and the USA) require holders of New Zealand passports to take out a visa for entry into their country where the traveller has been sentenced to imprisonment or been convicted of certain types of  offence.  A visa may also be required where a traveller has contagious disease of a specific type.

NB: It is most important that you make your own enquiries and satisfy yourself as to the position in regard to your passport and/or visa requirements before leaving New Zealand.

US Visa Waiver Programme ESTA

It is compulsory for all international travellers entering or transiting the United States of America under the Visa Waiver Programme (VWP) to apply for pre-travel authorisation via the Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA).  Although the ESTA form requires the same information as the green visa waiver form (I-94W) travellers will still be required to complete the I-94W whilst en-route to the US until such time as the US Customs and Border Protection Agency advise it is no longer necessary and issue a notice of full compliance.

The ESTA system enhances the security of the VWP which allows visitors from participating countries to travel to the US for business or pleasure for 90 days or less without first obtaining a visa.  Travellers should visit the US Department of Homeland Security website and complete an application online providing biographical and eligibility information.  In most cases a response will be received within seconds determining whether travel to the USA has been authorised.  In some instances travellers will need to wait up to 72 hours for authorisation so it is recommended that the ESTA process is completed at least 3 days before departure.  If the application is not authorised then a visa may be requested through the US Embassy.

For additional information the Visa Waiver Programme and the ESTA process please refer to www.cbp.gov/esta  And to complete ESTA formalities please go directly to the secure ESTA application site https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov

Vaccinations

Certain countries require that travellers be vaccinated against specific diseases. Check with your doctor and the Embassies of the countries to which you are to travel to satisfy yourself as to whether your destination has any requirements

Re-entry To New Zealand

Re-entry visas will be required for travellers leaving New Zealand and holding a foreign passport. If you are a New Zealand citizen holding a foreign passport issued by a country that does not recognize dual citizenship you will not be granted a visa allowing you to re-enter New Zealand on your foreign passport after travelling overseas.

Price Increases

Airfares and tour prices may change (almost invariably by being increased) without prior notice and even though your arrangements have been confirmed. Such price increases are beyond our control

Refunds

If you cancel your arrangements after paying for the same no refund will be available to you until after we receive the moneys from the Principal involved. In most cases fees will be payable for cancellations and in some instances you may not be able to claim a refund.

Travel Insurance

Travel Insurance is highly recommended and should be taken out contemporaneously with the payment of your travel. Insurance should cover the financial collapse of all parties involved in providing services to you during your travel as well as protecting you against medical expenses, arising from sickness or injury during your travel and against loss of or damage to your belongings.

Should you wish to organize cover independently you will be required to sign waiver which includes authorization to provide travel details to your designated insurer subject to the terms and provisions of the Privacy Act.
